Local Pest Control Company Helps Protect a Veteran's Home from Invaders

Viking Termite & Pest Control donates its services to Homes for Our Troops

Bridgewater, N.J. – Nov. 16, 2009 – Viking Termite & Pest Control, Inc., is helping to protect an injured war veteran's home from the threat of subterranean termites. The company donated installation and service of the SENTRICON^® Termite Colony Elimination System to the veteran, who recently received a newly constructed, fully funded, LEED-certified home in Hillsdale, N.J., from the national nonprofit organization Homes for Our Troops. Dow AgroSciences, manufacturer of the SENTRICON System, donated the components of the termite baiting system.

The construction project was coordinated by Homes for Our Troops, an organization that helps injured veterans by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor, and coordinates the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently.
